Easy Baking Jam Doughnut Muffins

This is by far the best baking I have done. It's so easy and they taste amazing. I got the Recipe from a book named Easy Baking from Marks and Spencer's. The book suggests that you place your ingredients into a muffin tin, as I had no muffin tin, I settled for a yorkshire pudding tray. Hence why my doughnuts look a spaceship shape. The book also suggests to leave cooking for 20mins. However they rise quick and my needed no more than 10mins, so keep an eye on them. Add lots of sugar and ENJOY.

INGREDIENTS:

Makes 12

Oil or melted butter, for greasing

280g/10oz plain flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/8 tsp salt

115g/4oz caster sugar

2 eggs

200ml/7fl oz milk

6 tbsp sunflower oil or 85g/ 3oz butter, melted and cooled

1tsp vinilla extract

4tbsp strawberry jam or raspberry jam

Topping

115g/4 oz butter

150g/ 5 1/2 oz granulated sugar

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6. Grease a 12-Cup muffin tin.

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the casting sugar.

Lightly beat the eggs in a large jug or bowl, then beat in the milk, oil and vanilla extract. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid beaten ingredients. Stir gently until combined; do not over-mix.

Spoon half the mixture into the prepared muffin tin. Add a teaspoon full of jam to the centre of each, then spoon in the remaining mixture. Bake in a preheated oven for about 20mins, until well risen, golden brown and firm to the touch.

Meanwhile, prepare the topping. Melt the butter. Spread the granulated sugar in a wide, shallow bowl. When the muffins are baked, leave in the tin for 5 mins. Dip the top of the muffins in melted butter then roll in the sugar. Serve warm or transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool.

ORIGINS Super Spot Remover

Like most spot removing products they all claim get rid of spot/blemishes fast. Even though this product doesn't completely take away those annoying spots it certainly helps. Its also a great product to wear underneath your foundation without having to worry about it flaking when dry. What's also great about this product is as soon as you put this on your spot you can feel it working straight away. Even though this 10ml bottle was £14.00 from Boots, it will certainly last a while as the tiniest amount will go along way. So if your looking for a spot remover that works give this a go :).

Sudocrem/Spot Treatment

Sudocrem, mostly known as a cream for babies tackles many other problems such as eczema , burns and can also help tackle acne. Even though I don't have acne I always have horrible spots/blemishes which never seem to disappear. I have tried a countless range of products since my teenage years and always aloud at least 6 months for my skin to get used to a certain product. Even though some may have made some sort of improvement non have ever made a noticeable impact. I gave up. Still looking after my skin I just settled that my sensitive skin is always going to have problems.

Then I began using this beauty, Sudocrem. The very first time I used this I lathered it all over my face before bed. This is wen i realised I little goes a long way. I woke up and noticed a difference straight away. I then got lazy and began using Sudocrem once or a couple times a week. My skin was just staying the same so once again I gave up, but I shouldn't have.

For the past few months I have applied Sudocrem all over my face each night and I swear this is what's making my spots smaller or disappear and genuinely having healthier looking skin.

What makes this product even better is that it's the cheapest I've ever bought at £6.25 for 400g and I haven't had to repurchase yet. As I said a little goes a long way so if your looking for a skin saviour this is the one :).

Foundation Collection

Due to wearing Fake Tan and the sun my skin can go through many colour changes. So as you can see I like to be prepared. I am naturally very pale so when I'm not wearing Fake Tan and want a light/medium coverage I go for Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in shade 51. For a more full coverage look I like Revlon's PhotoReady in shade 002 Vanilla both are Highstreet/Drugstore brands and both £9.99. The rest are MAC's Studio Fix Fluid Foundations at £22.50 going from shades NC35 too NW20. These are my favourite full coverage foundations which I prefer to wear when I have more of a tan and are perfect for when you need your foundation to last all day :).

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review

I love all the real techniques brushes but the expert face brush has to be my favourite. This brush is best used for liquid foundation and is great for achieving a full coverage flawless look. The brush allows you to really work and buff the product into your skin. Its also the only foundation brush i have found which doesn't leave me with foundation lines and allows me to get to every part of my face. I have also found i can used this brush to contour, blush and highlight. The brush is £9.99 and well worth it :).
